Bakersfield Gets Back on Track
Tony Cingrani continued his dominance over Cal League hitters in a five run outing that was shortened by pitch count precautions. The left-hander did not allow a run and lowered his ERA to 0.32 while picking up his third win in five starts. He limited JetHawk hitters to three hits while striking out nine and walking on. Curtis Parch and Brian Pearl both threw a scoreless inning of relief to finish the game.
The teams will play the rubber game of the three game set tonight in what figures to be a good pitching match-up. Kyle Lotzkar (3-0, 1.25) will take the mound against Tony Aliniz (2-0,2.90).
