Rogers Gets First AAA Win

Soon after the Reds drafted Chad Rogers in 2010 a shark attack while surfing postponed his professional debut until the next season. That's been the only thing to slow him down from advancing up the Reds system since. Tuesday he got the win in his second AAA start for Louisville.

Louisville took a five run lead and held on for a 5-3 win at Toledo giving Chad Rogers his first AAA win. He started off well with four scoreless innings before he left after a three-run rally in the fifth. The right-hander allowed three runs on seven hits and a walk over six-plus innings while striking out five. Jose Diaz tossed two scoreless frames to pick up the save and bring his ERA below...
